Today's Wheatake
Our parents taught us to work hard and be satisfied with what we have earned fairly, sincerely, and justly and keep our eyes off other people's things because you do not know how they got them. They never failed to remind us that a satisfied life is better than a successful life, because our success is measured by others but our satisfaction is measured by our own soul, mind and heart. Sometimes we get derailed by greed and lust and find "it is hard to be satisfied with life" because "we are not satisfied with ourself" ( Beth Sweet).
Remember Jesus told us
" blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled.(Matt. 5:6) If you observe and internalise that beatitude you will be satisfied.
